Outside Wichita? – We charge a delivery fee based on distance.

Please note: The Murphy bed kits are engineered to work with any mattress that meets the following weight and thickness specifications:
Twin: Up to 12 inches thick (including any pillow top) and between 35 to 50 pounds
Full: Up to 12 inches thick (including any pillow top) and between 50 to 65 pounds
Queen: Up to 12 inches thick (including any pillow top) and between 65 to 80 pounds
King: Up to 12 inches thick (including any pillow top) and between 65 to 80 pounds

Kris Stringer is the proud owner and operator of Kansas Murphy Bed, where his dedication to craftsmanship and quality is at the forefront of every project. With a lifetime background in construction and remodeling, Kris developed a passion for woodworking that was passed down from his father. What started as a personal hobby building custom Murphy beds and handcrafted furniture for friends and family has blossomed into a growing business known for its exceptional designs and attention to detail.
In addition to his woodworking business, Kris also owns and operates Stringer Remodeling, a company he took over from his father in 2021 after his father's well-deserved retirement. With a deep-rooted commitment to customer satisfaction, Kris continues to serve the Wichita metro area with top-tier home and commercial remodeling services, blending his expertise in construction with his love for creating functional, beautiful spaces.
