Kansas Murphy Bed and Stringer Custom Woodworking requires a 100% payment when you place an order directly through us. For commercial customers with larger orders a down payment of 75% will need to be paid before the order is started. Final payment will have to be made at time of delivery with no exceptions. Once you have placed your order, you have 5 days to cancel. All cancelled orders will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee and will be held back from your refund.

Please note: The Murphy bed kits are engineered to work with any mattress that meets the following weight and thickness specifications:

Twin: Up to 12 inches thick (including any pillow top) and between 35 to 50 pounds
Full: Up to 12 inches thick (including any pillow top) and between 50 to 65 pounds
Queen: Up to 12 inches thick (including any pillow top) and between 65 to 80 pounds
King: Up to 12 inches thick (including any pillow top) and between 65 to 80 pounds

If you're interested in showcasing one of our Murphy beds in your showroom, feel free to contact us reach out via email or contact Kris Stringer directly at (316) 835-0898. We are happy to install a bed in your showroom in Wichita or the surrounding area at no cost to you—simply provide the mattress. Additionally, we offer a 20% commission on the profit of every bed you sell.

Cancellation / Returns

Once you have placed your order, you have 5 days to cancel.

All cancelled orders will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee and will be held back from your refund.

After 5 days a 35% charge (shipping not included) will be held back from any refunds. All beds are built to order.

Any returns after receiving your wall bed will have a 35% charge (not including shipping) and loss of original shipping fee, and the cost of the return shipment fee.

Delivery and set up based on distance. If you are within 25 miles of Wichita the charge will be $300.00 to set up and deliver. If you have any questions feel free to contact us
